The Spirit DVA100 is our entry-level disc-player. Even so, it is still a beautifully designed natural part of any unbalanced Thule Audio system. With its one-button front, it embodies the same simplistic philosophy in both use and appearance as all our other products. Disc format compatibilities include DVD-Video, DVD-Audio 2-channel, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, HDCD, VCD, SVCD, Kodak Picture CD and others. The disc drive is specially selected for high performance audio. The disc operation is smooth and fast, and completely silent. Even with the many disc formats available you will not sacrifice two- channel CD stereo - in fact DVA100 should be compared with CD Players in the same price range. The audio section of DVA100 features two-channel audio output with a Crystal delta-sigma D/A converter. This makes DVA100 a perfect match for the Thule Audio rsquo;s unbalanced Spirit series amplifiers, IA60/100 and PR100. DVA100 is also suitable in a cost-effective home theater system: simply connect the digital audio output to an AV amplifier, e. g. Sphere AV100. The video section of DVA100 includes PAL/NTSC progressive scan video with advanced film mode (frame by frame interpolation). The video outputs are buffered with a high speed and high current amplifier. The buffering will ensure that the quality of the high frequency progressive scan signals are maintained through the video cables. The DVA100 is therefore a perfect companion for any projector, LCD or plasma screens with progressive scan video inputs. DVA100 has the same curved brushed aluminium front as all other Thule products, and also lacks any superfluous of buttons and knobs. It is a harmonious and integrated part of a complete Spirit series system. It can be operated from the one button on the front panel or via its remote control. Thule Audio has prioritised a simple straightforward user interface. For instance all menu choices are shown in both the display of DVA100 and on the screen. This means that you don rsquo;t have to turn on your TV-set or projector to operate the disc player, which is particularly useful when playing CDs or DVDs.
